    Hi,

This forum seems pretty good but can anyone recommend a book on Linpus (or Linux)?

I'm not necessarily a newbie, more an outofdatey (first used Unix in 1979 - ouch), but be nice if there was something a bit more up to date on the AA1, Linpus, or as close as possible.

Already trawled Amazon but not sure what to pick.

    Thanks,
    Rowantree

Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but "Linux Pocket Guide" by Daniel J. Barrett (O'Reilly) covers the Fedora command line pretty well.

I'll answer my own question here. The Pocket Guide is indeed a good reference but Linux All-in-one Desk Reference for Dummies is shaping up to be a very readable and useful book without descending into a list of man pages... so if anyone else is on the look out, this one seems good.

    Cheers,
