I just purchsed a new AA1 today, charged the battery, and switched it on to get:

    "Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 082)
    Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

    For realtek RTL8101E/8102E PCI-E Ethernet Controller v1.09 (080602)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
    PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key"

    Then nothing! Help!

Seems your A1 came configured with the wrong boot order, and it's picking network before Hard Drive. How to solve?

    a) Restart A1
    b) As soon as you see acer logo, hit F2 key to enter setup mode
    c) Move cursor right until next to last option (think called boot order)
    d) Make sure IDE0 WDCxxxx is selected as your 1st device (see instructions on said screen to move items up and down)
    e) Exit saving changes (think is F10)
    f) Restart, and you should see your A1 booting from hard drive

BTW, this is my boot order, right out of factory
    1) IDE0 WDCxxxx
    2) IDE1
    3) USB FDD
    4) USB HDD
    5) Network boot
    6) USB CD

    Hope this helps,
