    Hello, hello...

I use SE Xperia X1 as PIM. Under Windows there is no problem to set this PDA up as a Internet Sharing Device via USB cable (I can use device and charge the battery up in the same time). Obviously I also can share the Internet access over Bluetooth. Problem I have is present only under Ubuntu OS. After starting Internet sharing service on X1 and connecting USB cable device is recognized by Ubuntu as Internet Sharing Device, Ubuntu tries to obtain IP address and that's it... Unfortunately I can not use internet that way - "connecting" seems to be endless process.

Does any of you had that problem and how to sort this out??

If it is a WinMobile device (i think it is) you could use WVDIAL - there are plenty of threads on the Ubuntu forums explaining how to do this, or post back here and i'll try and help.

    Cheers.
