7200Seagate 500GB w/a1ctl HDD clicks

    I put a 500GB HD (and 1GB RAM) in my AOA150 today. a1ctl is not stopping the HD clicking. Are there other software options for this function? Running XP SP3, and BIOS v.3310.

    I know there is some debate regarding the performance improvements between 5400 and 7200 as well as one platter v. two platter drives. I like having a lot of storage available, but would consider decreasing HD size to regain the quiet of the original 120GB.
