I have a stock acer aspire one d250 netbook and my school uses WPA2 security for their wifi.

Is there any 3rd party software or soemthing that can allow me to enter a pass into the pass box once i set the encryption to wpa2?

Try TKIP instead of AES, or use the wireless wizard.

Hmmm, you can go into the device manager and disable the card, then restart. This should wipe any previous info out, and allow you to enter a new key.
