Does anyone know if there are any plans of a AAO with a 2.5" HDD with Linux?
Battery wouldn't matter or RAM since that's a quick upgrade.
This would make it easier to put in an aftermarket SSD or CF to SATA 2.5" form factor adapter.

Thanks guys, I think the AAO is what I want to get since the EEE is expensive and the Wind seems a bit bigger than I want and really I'll just end up running Linux on mine (Ubuntu or Fedora since they are used by my LUG and I've used them before) so the RAM cap isn't a big issue. One more question though, does anyone know where it would be available in the US.

I found the 120GB version on NCIX US, but it's not available yet and ETA is mid August.
On the bright side the price is cheaper than Newegg's price on the SSD version for the SSD and HDD version.

Yeah NCIX and CDW are the only 2 places I've found the HDD version so far. And CDW said they're expecting it on August 15. I'm guessing about the same for NCIX. Otherwise it's just the SSD version so far that I've seen.
