I have an Aspire One 110 with Linux Lite 8gb SSD and have acquired a 120gb HD unit complete with mounting plate from a Aspire One 150

This has Windows XP Home installed.

Can the HD simply be connected to the same connector that the SSD is removed from?

Will Windows just boot from the replacement drive?

It would be useful to know of any problems I might encounter before on embarking on this transplant operation both during operation and post op. (like cooling?)

I have access to the usual web video/ instructions for disassembly and assembly and the technical manual.

    What a shame!

Well if anyone needs a SATA 120GB drive for a 150 I have one in UK with Windows XP preloaded complete with tray.
