1.8 micro HD (pcmcia) adapter to zif? possible?

    Hi guys, i have a Toshiba MK4006GAH lying around and i'm looking to adapt it to a zif. It has a pcmia/cf type pin configuration (the technology for 1.8"ers prior to the zif becoming popular. I tried dremeling a CF adapter but it's not working out and is huge (can't fit in the case). Any suggestions? I've seen other adapters on korean boards but i don't know of any vendors that will ship to the US. Ideally i'd need just a zif cable with no PCB and just pins sticking out of it.

    I also have a hitachi micro 4gb CF drive but that wasn't booting up with the adapter either. Any suggestions?
