Does anyone know how to install Wine 1.0 on the AAone?

I've downloaded the Wine 1.0 rpms packages for Fedora 8 & 9 (wasn't sure which one to get).

Both packages don't work. The software installer displays the message "Cannot install source package" followed by "No packages were given for installation".

I'm still new to linux. :?
I have a lot of windows native programs. It would be nice to have some of them work on the AAone.

    Didn't work.

Tried doing it but got a "Connection refused" from the terminal, followed by some other stuff and ended with " No package wine available. Nothing to do"
    The package I downloaded is
    wine-1.0-1.fc8.src.rpm

Is there a specific location where I should put the package?

NB:I did this with my internet connection on. But seems that the fedora repository not available.

The Fedora repository has been down recently....
and, "connection refused" is a standard error message that is displayed (it is a bug, so you can ignore it).

Actually, it was the mirror list that was down. Many of the repos were still accessible -- although without access to the public mirror list website, it was hard to determine which repos to direct connect to.

Fortunately it's back up as of yesterday afternoon -- feel free to try again. Installing Wine 1.0 is as easy as that, and it works very nicely. I had the smoothest installation of 'Heroes of Might & Magic 3 Complete' ever. :)
