I bought an Acer Aspire One 160gb yesterday and there is only one problem, It runs Windows. I was just wondering if I install Linpus will it work right after install or is there tweaking involved? Also, has anyone had any problems w/ the "stock" linux OS on the aspire?

    Thanks in advance,

I'm triplebooting XP, Linpus and Ubuntu. Linpus (as in recovery CD Linpus) will work without tweaks. As for problems, check around the forum. There are some hiccups here and there.

Linpus is a bit old. For example, it comes with Firefox 2, for which security updates are no longer available. Run it at your own risk! You may as well install an up-to-date distro, such as Fedora.
