    I have a ASUS laptop Model P53E, Windows 7 PRO 64bit
When I unplug a device from a USB port they all become unresponsive. I have to reboot.
    Any idea's?
    Thanks, Craig

You could purchase a external usb hub, and connect all of your usb devices through it.

It could be that you are unlucky that you have a faulty unit

You could try to see in the device manager section of the control panel, and
see if there are any conflicts removing all usb related files by right clicking
on each file may help if there is a conflict. your machine will at reboot try to restore
    the files.

    Also give this a try

    Try this program USBOblivion

Disconnect all usb devices RUN THE PROGRAM at the bottom of the
program click “do a real clean”

Restart your machine then reconnect all of your usb devices one by one.

Thanks very much something back. USBOblivion did not fix my problem but I did fix on my own.
I went into control panel\network and internet\network properties and changed my local area connection 4 settings
I unchecked DNE LightWeight Filter, Unchecked Shrew Soft Lightweight filter
Unchecked Virtual PC Network Filter Driver and unchecked TCP/IPv6
    Working as it should now
