    Hi,

I've got a WinXP AAO, and when I got it, it had where you could rotate the screen 90,180,270... I used it a few times a couple of months ago...

I finally got unbusy enough to goof off and actually read an ebook and lo, it won't rotate.

I searched through here (thinking I forgot how to do it) and no I was activated, etc, but the rotation function keys are no longer listed in the hot keys menu of the graphics properties... only return to regular... and I can't see a way to change it...

Any ideas, suggestions? I've searched on here and haven't seen this... did I miss it, and if so, where?

    Thanks!

You need to enable Hot Keys in the Intel GMA properties. Ctrl + Alt + <arrow keys> will then flip or rotate the screen.

They are enabled, but the various arrow controls (ctrl+alt+ <arrows>) are not listed, except for ctrl+alt+up arrow... that's the only one...

Hence why I am so puzzled over it.

I guess I didn't state it clearly enough, sorry...

You need to enable rotation first in the "Display Settings" tab. Click "Apply" and then enable Hot Keys.

Ummm.... that box is no longer in my preferences box. The box comes up, looks like that under that tab, EXCEPT for the rotation box on the right...

As I said previously, it USED to be there... Now it's NOT.

Sorry for frustration... it's just that I know it's supposed to be there! ARGH.

Ummm... suggestions??? Maybe reinstalling the driver????

Here's a screenshot of my driver properties box:

OK, I got gutsy and uninstalled and reinstalled the video drivers. That solved it.

Sorry for frustration level... just don't know what/why it did what it did (Joy of Windoze)
