New AOA 10.1 inch

Yep, that was my thoughts too. The new one looks a lot better, I waited on getting an AAO so far because of that. I am definitely going to get one of the new ones! However, I haven't seen anything relating to what battery they come with, the new model looks to have a 3-cell based on the pictures, unless they made a 6-cell that somehow fits flush with the case.

From what I can tell the color of the Aspire logo is based on the color of the AAO itself. The white Aspire One's have a Green Aspire logo, the Red ones have a Red logo, and the Black ones have a smoke grey logo. At least thats what I can figure from the pictures I have seen of the new one so far.

Other than that, I'm just crossing my finger and hoping for it to have a 6-cell battery, and if not maybe an option 6-cell I could buy too.

 

hm yes 6cell can be optional i would like it to have it come with the original AA1 so it would be cool to get all of it in 399$

 

I wish they change the chipset to a better one than that ancient 945 express....

While the specs show a SD card reader, I don't see the slot in the pictures above on either the left or right. Must be either in the front or back IF these photos are legit. From the specs, it says there is only one SD slot which is not a big deal. The only thing that would be this a semi-must trade-up would be easy RAM access. I see that it will max out at 2 GB RAM.

Never mind. I see what looks like the SD slot on the front left side.

3 versions of 10 inch will come
first 10 inch
second 10 inch + Bluetooth
3rd 10 Inch + Bluetooth + N280.

like that it comes.

Are these pics of the new 10.1" version with a 3-cell battery? I notice that the pre-order version on J&R is for the 10.1" 6-cell model. Some posts on this site have indicated that the first 10.1" model coming out in the U.S. will be the 3-cell battery version, but the only pricing so far has been for the 6-cell. I wonder what the price for the 3-cell will be and if the 6-cell will have the same bulky add-on look that the 6-cell 8.9" version has.
