    Has anyone tried running Memtest86+?

I have an AOA 110 8Gb SSD, .5Gb ram. Booting to a usb drive and running memtest I see 500Mb memory and 268Mb Rsvdmem. The Rsvdmem value is the amount that will not be able to be tested. Choosing the other memory sizing options (Bios-All and Probe) freeze the machine.

Has anybody tried memtest with results like these? Does anyone know anything to be done for memtest to be able to test more of the ram?

    Thanks for any replies!

I've done memtest86+ with a ubuntu live cd. I got no errors and everything is normal. my AAO has 2x512mb ram. Both "ram modules" are from samsung.

Just running the test I got no errors either, but I'm interested what value you saw for rsvdmem. That value is the amount of ram which is reserved and won't be tested. So while I got no errors running the test, 268Mb was not checked.
