Laptop for gaming and university?

    Hi, I am looking for a nice laptop that can last me through university,

    I am going into business in September, but will also be using this laptop to play games such as League of Legends. I would prefer if the laptop was not big and bulky, small and easy to carry around.

    My budget is ~1K preferably, but can afford to dish out a couple hundred extra if the laptop is really worth it, Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Which country are you buying the laptop in? I'm based in the UK, so £1000 is quite different to $1000 - just wanted to check before giving out advice ;).
