extended desktop on n270

    I just want to know if it would be damagable to my graphic card or if it would make my laptop overheat (aspire one n270) if i extend my desktop to another monitor (20' max).

    i already tried and it works, but before using it like this for a long time, i would like to know if it can be damagable?

    If the machine wasn't designed to handle an external monitor, it wouldn't have a VGA port. I regularly hook my D250 up to my HD projector and watch movies on a 3 meter screen. If it can handle that, it'll handle a 20".
