I have tried running Empire Earth on my Aspire One 150 XP, but I can't get it to work. I can see the intro, but after that I get a black screen followed by "EE-AOC.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then I click "Don't Send" and then another pop-up appears, saying: "The instruction at "0x211119d6" referenced memory at "0x0f3000d0". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program." Then I click OK and it closes.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I installed the game the EXACT same way on my other computer (with Vista) and it works perfectly.

Follow the instructions posted here. It fixes Empire Earth too.

By installing AsTray (there is a link in the above topic)
and setting screen resolution to 1024x768, Empire Earth runs fine on my Aspire One.

With 1024x600 I was getting the exact same error with you.

It worked, but my screen is crazy when I go back. What is the normal resolution for AA1 (the one it starts with)?
