I found the following thread regarding Aspire One 722 series Bios Recovery and had some questions:

To use the BIOS recovery on AO722 and possibly other 11.6" models.
    1. Download the latest bios from acer support.
    2. Format a USB drive using FAT (I used a generic 2GB with FAT16)
    3. Copy bios .bin file to drive and rename to BIOS.fd
    4. Remove battery, and unplug AC cord.
    5. Press and hold "fn" and "esc" keys.
    6. Plug in AC cord.
    7. Press and release power button.
    8. Keep holding "fn" and "esc" until it starts beeping.
    9. It will beep once per second while flashing and reboot once completed. (Mine took 1 or 2 minutes)

I am not sure about the renaming the .bin file.
The bin file I downloaded was P1VE6104.bin. Do I rename it to P1VE6104.fd?
After plugging in the USB with the P1VE6104.fd file and with the laptop still powered down do I hold the Fn + Esc down while plugging in the AC cord, then power up in that sequence?
Also should the FLASHIT.exe be copied onto the USB as well?
