You didn't say what you are ACTUALLY expecting to pay, for your new computer... I see they 'were' $943 and $1100...

Both computers are in (effectively) Laptop Cases... They LOOK great, but... UPGRADING is going to be problematical - and I'll bet you are soon looking for better Frame rates and Faster CPU/GPU's..

You will be tied to Manufacturers recommended upgrades (if available)... because otherwise parts may not fit in the case... not good!

With say $800 - I'd imagine that you will be able to build a state of the art, all singing, all dancing, BEAST of a Home built Desktop with
if not the 'BEST' current components, then at least what you can afford NOW, and later - Upgrade to the best then available, even changing one item at a time, e,g, Upgrade CPU, Add more RAM, Upgrade Graphics card, & etc.
If you are 'New' to the idea of building your own Desktop, try visiting Toms Hardware a site over there in the US of A that even we Brits, turn to for advice... The Link below refers to the Intel I5, but there is just about every type of Hardware needed, each has its own section for advice/ desirability/ comparison with similar & etc.,

    http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2349277/cpu-motherboard.html

Hope this saves you from an expensive 'mistake'
