Hi, I currently have an Asus laptop / G37JH, due to my current hard drive having low space I decided to buy a 1000 GB hard drive. I got the hard drive today and my laptop has two slots for two hard drives, I just put in the second one but to no avail. How do I exactly have both hard drives used at once so I can have the maximum space?? Please help

    Additional information: Runs Windows 7

Any new harddrive requires to be programmed that is “created and formatted”
download a program called “Aomei partition assistant”

    The link is here: http://www.disk-partition.com/download.html

Using the Aomei partition assistant you should see disk 2 listed click on it ( if you don't see disk 2 listed then report back to the laptop-forums site ) then goto partition menu choose create, then format, finally choose apply.

Restart your machine your new drive should be picked up by the bios and listed in windows.

    Using Aomei partition assistant program,

    "disk 2" click on it

    Goto the partition menu

    "choose create",

    then "format",

    finally "choose apply".

Wait for the program to do it's stuff

    Then restart the computer
