Awhile ago I uninstalled XP and installed Kubuntu. Then recently I had the "Black screen of death" problem, but seemed to sort it out, new BIOS 3310 shows up in BIOS menu. I am not happy with Kubuntu and want to install Ubuntu 10.10, which I have on a USB key. Trouble is, it won't boot into the install on the usb. I checked the BIOS and it show USB hdd as first boot option, the lights flash on the drive when booting, but it goes straight back into Kubuntu. One other odd part is if I hit F12, the usb drive doesn't show up here. Can anybody shine a light on how I can sort this out? :?
